you can do anything if you set your mind to it...
i rather blow it up winning than keep it together losing.

So it came so far that i have 4 test drives to do next week. Ducati 848, triumph but daytona... but "sport travel" version. A tiumph speed triple and a cagiva raptor. ( on persuasion of a friend who drives one)

What's the 'sport travel' version of the Daytons?

Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

Wel don't have a better way to say it... it has braces to hang side packs ( cases) on and the steering handle is raised a bit.

Sounds quite a different animal to the 1098 then?

Yes it is. But its one the dealer had available. Engine should be ad powerfull and i will get rid of the side pack but the higher steering does speak to me since i had spinale surgery 4 years ago... ill just see what it gives... i still like the ducati the best right now but reliability issues are at high norm for me this moment.

When I read the review of the Ducati pre launch they described its looks as a little 916 and a lot 675.

But you will put up with the deficiencies of the thing you want over something that is more practical reliable

I'm waiting for a 675 Black to rear it's head on the second hand market. Then I may be tempted to get back out riding.

the bike i posted is the daytona 675 R

If you really want one go ride one first then go buy a Daytona 675

this haha
have a go on both and see which you'd prefer to live with
could also go yam but there pretty common bikes,
ducati's are very pretty too but abit poser'y
justin biebers got an 848 for example :p

Owned this from new so appreachiate the V-Twin thing (couldn't afford a 916/996 at the time):

I'm hoping to use it more next year, on my 120miles a day commute (should make it more interesting).
I think the 1098 should hold its money quite well also - I hear the Panagali (or whatever its called) is a bit too full on for anyone who isn't a racer.

TL1000 now that's a man bike! I have a honda sp1 but it lives in my living room, hopefully I'll get out on it more next year

Drove few bike's last days. The daytona is indeed a great bike. And lust be honest feels a little more secure in corners then the ducati.

Petty thing is that i probably will have to set my plans back for a while since i got a split comming up..... *frown*
