As above, vinegar and wipe off with newspaper. God knows where I found that out, but it works. :) On 19th Jan, 2010 wil_h said:

A mate at work had the same on show 520d, it was the window washer bottle, he bought some tablets that you chuck in a clean it, a bit like kids bottle tabs I think, and washed it through a few times, chucked in ne fluid and it was normal. Up to them he spent cash changing the wipers, new screen wash, washing the window etc, just for it come back.

So lets see if anyone has got any good ideas. The windscreen on my BMW is horrible, even after cleaning with various things, the wiper blades smear water on the "return" sweep making visibility in wet conditions, especially in the dark, awful. I've tried windolene, I've degreased the screen with brake cleaner, I've fitted new Bosch decent wiper blades, I have also cleaned the blade rubber itself a few times. Its got good quality screenwash thats Gen VW/Audi stuff. Any ideas, as its doing my head in. Edited by gr4h4m on 22nd Dec, 2013. I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

I had my car washed (first time in about 3 months) at the local generic immigrant car wash. No idea what they put on the screen, but my wipers work better than they have ever done. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

It's better but not great. I have cleaned it with every product known to man and then rain-x twice. It's still not great and I think another new wiper blade is my next step.

As a valeter getting in zero mile cars the water beads n runs for the hills!! Always wanted that on my own! Used a glass compound and the poundland rain x and mine now does the same thing! Also a good clean and flippin of the blades made a crazy change! I know some blades are oneway only but worth a go if u can On 24th Oct, 2015 jonny f said:
