Great result.

Is this the ECU?

Do the lynx rollers measure transmission losses Tim or is it just a best guess at 20%?

The chart clearly states 'Estimated flywheel power' which is a clear 20% over wheel power.

34hp losses is a bit much at the top end though, that said if the oil is cooking, it could be right.

I'd suggest it's nearer 198hp at the flywheel, but even at that at 15psi on a five porter, is pretty damn good!!! :)

Remember, its ony Bananas and Curly Wurly's

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

It's got to be a massive result for the boost

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

keeping things close to chest comes down to how much money this things cost to get the required results, isn't that what makes it fun.

wouldn't take long with your car, maybe a couple of hours.
I've been a few times as I've know John for a few years and we are trying new things with my car.

Sc quoted to me that their kit with two bosh 440 was good for 150bhp, so 75 each, the operator at my local rolling road said they wee good for 50 bhp at the wheels each...

What the mind can conceive the mini can achieve
MITP 2012 17.01 seconds 1/4 mile against "The Don"
MITP 2013 16.83 seconds 1/4 mile

Well since you already copied the HP vs RPM table into excel, creating a torque graph is easy =HP*5252/RPM

The Lynx rolling road is just a couple of miles from us. Might visit some time to see if they are conversant with MS3.

Just need some rollers. We can do all our own mapping and injection timing, as long as they will let us.

that's a fantastic result Tim and clearly a fair bit of hard work has gone into it.

as for all the chat about secrecy, I can understand why you are choosing to keep certain facts to yourself for now.

Yes as rob says, can imagine a lot of work time and cost has gone into developing this engine. It's all too easy for others to look at the spec and just copy. Again, great result!
