i thought the fans were to give some downforce on the front of the car and aid tracksion lol*smiley*

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

Whilst we all agree that drawing the cooler air from underneath is better in theory at first thought, I dare say that the practice of ramming air at xx m/s at the top of the engine (where the hotter water will be in the water jacket) will cool the engine much faster than drawing air up from under the already warm engine, losing it's velocity (and most effective cooling aspect) aswell as gaining heat all the time...

so being serious now, what is the difference in time ,for cooling down,if you left the bonnet off without,,,,, the new idea with electric fans on above.

And if your down pipe is heat wrapped, does that make a difference, with the cooling down period?
