A bulb on a wire would do the same thing. You can get a multimeter cheeply enough these days. If you get really stuck you can borrow mine.

Locate this fuse.... white from ignition switch in on the left and green out on the right.

Connect to the green side if you do not have a seperate fuse, otherwise connect to the white side if you have a seperate inline fuse.

The green/white is the 'Aux' live from the ignition switch and looses power to these circuits as 'crank' is switched. It does this to reduce the load on the battery during cranking.

Brown - Battery live (live all the time)
White - 'Ign' live (live when the ignition switch is on in any position)
Green - Fused 'ign' live (live when the ignition switch is on in any position)
Green/white - 'Aux' live (Live when ignition switch on in 'aux' and 'ign', but not 'crank')

use a second in line fuse before the MJ

What the mind can conceive the mini can achieve
MITP 2012 17.01 seconds 1/4 mile against "The Don"
MITP 2013 16.83 seconds 1/4 mile
