Im another person appalled by the quality of rubber parts. Ball joint dust covers, outer CV boots, trackrod end dust covers and fuel tank neck seal. I complained to simon@minispares.com about it on suggestion from a friend who works there. He said he would speak to the manufacture of the parts i highlighted. (Neck Seal, Ball joint covers)

I was searching the stalls at bingley for better quality dust covers and found some nice ones which were alot more flexible than the ones supplied. (Dont know the company, it was a old couple along the back wall near the panel stand) I fitted them last week so i will keep an eye on them.

I also purchased some of those cheap stainless bumpers from london to Brighton about 3 years ago and they also had the razor sharp edge.

There was some kind of change to the low on rubber a couple of years ago, think it was one chemical involved in process that was nasty and another used in mould release agents, some of the race tyres went from being great to sh err not very good overnight..

Think you got them from mick price (Birmingham moc) who also runs miniworld (not the magazine)

I had my bulkhead box from mick, it was much better quality than the other off the shelf parts.
