Personally, yes. my throw-out bolt is still in place, but wound in about 1/4" from where it needs to be (I'll remove it next time the engine is out). I also don't have a spring between the arm and the slave.

This only really works if the spring in your slave is upto snuff - ie has enough effort to push the arm out and keep load on the thrust bearing. If it doesn't, then adding a small helper spring between the inner wing and arm helps. I did have this on mine for a while, and took it of last year to try if the spring in the slave was enough followign discussions on the same subject on another forum.

ahh so been good so far?
ive notived the clutch on my van is slow to return by slow you can press then release then re press and it will push ferther to the point it bottoms the slave out.. and thats not evan pressing it althat fast to be honest for instance a slow duble clutch will make it bottom out

i shall try removeing said spring witch may make the hyrdolics push it back faster

it may also be that im useto a grey plate forceing your foot back not a wimpy std one

The spring is nothing to do with what you are seeing. It is most likely that your clutch slave hose is collapsing internally and causing a restriction; I've experienced this a few times over the years. Best option is to replace it with the one-piece braided hose from the master straight to the slave.
