Well i tried another coil and fitted a different condensor as a friend said sounds similar to what his did and nothing.. would only just start then and not rev then just die..

I left it for hours hoping for the vapour lock theory but it just didnt even start *oh well*

I'll try a swap for the leads, they were new end of last year, im just puzzled as to why ive had 2 lovely drives in it but then it refuses to go on its journey back to its garage haha

I had one plug lead on an old cad that would brake down when the under bonnet temps got up. Exact same symptoms.

Same here - I had the coil HT lead break down and short against the wiring harness. It would kangaroo as it flapped about under acceleration then touched the wiring.

It now refuses to even start! If it does start it has to be with no choke or throttle at all otherwise it dies.. plugs were rather wet when i pulled them but thats probably from all the pissin about ive tried

I was actually thinking how long does it take for s$#t fuel to go off now a days???
