ok,

so its either the turbo oils seals being dodgy or it is the oil drain?

it would be one of these?

just so you have a bit more of an idea it only started leaking when it was up to temp :/

I dont think this is due to the drain,

I would say its mor likly to be the oil inlet weeping and its draining down,

or the gasket/seal behind the compressor backing plate is leaking.... it shouldnt,

the turbo is off,
ive checked the feed and there is no leak.

checked the oil drain and also no leak.

its coming from the core itself and seeping past the exhaust turbine.

Ahhhh nice :L

I've just ordered all the bits to connect it up

One of the boys said he was running about 80psi with no problems, so I didn't think it would be that,

I'll get it connected and report back, never know it might be a pressure problem

It may be your problem. You need to stick a gauge on it to see.

What readings should I be looking for?

What the psi is cold on idle?

And when it's up to temp?

Unbolt the turbine housing from the core and see if there is oil inside.

TBH, given the amount of oil you see externally, if it was coming from inside the turbine area I would have to say it would be impossible for it not to be smoking when the engine is running.
