so antman, you are spending loads of dosh on lightening the F1 cars, but still use brake lines that are heavier than kunifer lines?*happy*

Yeah pretty much, safety takes priority!! Try breaking a braided line compared to a copper line. All the other lines are a carbon braid that we run with either alloy or titanium fittings.

Ant,

save a few grams by running -2 down to each wheel and have -3 (pref hard line) to t piece on main runs.

Braided lines certainly do have some give in them. I've had a clutch system that at first lost all the fluid to expansion in the braided line and didn't work! Changed it to stainless hardline, worked perfectly.

The stainless is aircraft spec so light and no corrosion.

I didn't even know they did a -2 an!! Is that what the more modern f1s run?
