I'm having big trouble trying to get some pipe/hosing on to the turbo.. The space is way too tight to get anything to bend nicely through 90 degrees. The wastegate is making it awkward but the main problem is the bottom hose, it's fecking near on impossible... I bought some 60mm silver flexible hose but that got mangled just trying to attach it. I was thinking about something less delicate like some rubber hose but the space won't allow anything in there without it kinked/crushed slightly... Any suggestions? Sorry for the hijack...

What turbo setup is it ?

What's wrong with a regular silicone type elbow ?

If it's the standard Garrett T3...then just use the standard Garret T3 silicone elbow ?

Is that filter as filthy as it appears to be in the photo? If it can't flow air it will end up creating a depression in the filter and ducting.

It's not like new but not as bad as I've seen it!

Mines located same as Shauna's pic, no shroud.

I struggled with the flexi stuff before, hence it's had a few layers of tape on it, never seemed to want to stay in one piece. It's one of the long term bodges i'd like to fix this time round.

I don't know what was on it when I ripped it out, was so long ago. I must have binned it if it was it crap condition?

Where can I find the standard Garret T3 silicone elbow?

Basically just buy any silicone elbow the correct diameter.

oh right lol… nah, all still the same. Do you guys mean something like this, like what I've been using on the setup for my intercooler?

Can't remember the exact stuff we used for Shaunas, but it was the same as this stuff http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&...2118423&alt=web
Been on and off a few times now, also convoluted so that the filter can be pulled up out the way to get to the turbo etc, then pushed back down and the tuving collapses down with minimal restriction. Seems pretty good stuff! 51mm onto the turbo, then a 2" to 3" exhaust reducer cut down to adapt the air filter to it.
