Just my 2p..... My track mini is a steel shell and weighs 492kg with 10L fuel. It has a standard 2003 R1 engine in the front (FWD).

Sorry Dave I don't have a build thread. I have taken many pictures throughout the build but just never got round to logging it in a thread. I was at MITP so if it was white, caged & on 10" MB's there is a good chance it was me! 1976 Mini 1000 FWD R1 - 13.2@104

Recall seeing video of Harey Death at Donnington in the V8 Mini putting the power down and shooting off in to the pit wall! But it was a monster down the Dunlop bridge straight passing everything. |

the powertec v8 appear to a proper thing but there is a properer engine out there, v6 snowmobile engine.

oh yeah, i`ve seen & heard them a while ago on the intercyber net thingy, i figured someone would do a conversion by now , but doesn`t seem to be.
