Just got the courige to mesure it out. Seem to be about. 0.01 mm deep carv you can do anything if you set your mind to it...

You can take a bit off the roof still. What you need is a pair of old valves with a mm or two turned off the end that you can drop in to protect the seats while you grind.

Yep, cut just enough to remove the circular step around the valves. Do you have a cylindrical burr? Hold the dremel 90 degrees to the surface, then its easier to get a nice flat surface and less chance of touching the valve (if you remove the old valves to do any tricky bits).

It's just marked out by hand and done with a bull nosed cutter. It's only roughing out but much quicker and easier than with the grinder. You can see I also open up around the valves using the seat cutter. |

Cheers thnx for the advise. Ill have a look at it if i can use my hand again. Just cut a tip of with a panelsaw.... 😡 you can do anything if you set your mind to it...
