I would be hoping to get it ready for then being a first time build and would be great to see how it goes. Iain do you happen to have Marks number, we are hoping to go see him about the turbo head, and some other bits. Thanks

I?d be really keen to get this done asap. I can?t believe how much different rolling roads read, but yet every operator insists that theirs is spot on! I suppose that?s why it?s all bananas and pub talk!

A few months back I took my car to Vmax to get it checked over on the roller, I came out with 187 bhp. I have changed nothing on the car and yesterday took the car to emerald, as always to get a comparison, we did a power run on the car as it was. At the same boost, I only managed 130 bhp! Now that is some difference!! I did however come out with a shade over 160 bhp, which is an increase of 30 bhp or banana?s. so I?m happy with that

clutch is holding up fine now, since I fitted the double grey and sintered plate

Jim. Was the car in similar spec from 187 V-max bananas to 130 Emerald bananas?

If so, was the V-max setup not optimal?

The car had not changed at all between the time it left v-max and went to emerald. All Dave walker did in emerald was tweak the ingnition, mainly dialed out some of the boost retard

Mike's rollers aren't the best by a long way but he knows how to set up an a series for sure on them

Yes, he seems a top bloke I just don't like the rollers that hold the engine back hard to measure power.

I was on High boost flat to the boards and the can stayed at 6000 rpm I could hear it staining, not sore me I was afraid of braking some thing.

Can't we go same where different and more kind on the engine/gearboxes ect??

fair comments matt, it would be alot better if he had his own rollers that were more upto date perhaps, i think the brake is pretty old, should be seeing him tomorrow so i'll see what he says, the ones being used on the rr day belong to the unit they were in
