I couldn't fault my S2000, the only reason I sold it was because I'm an idiot and I missed having a turbo.

Handled like a dream and plenty of go once you were up on vtec.

Went out for a couple of days in Wales the other week, I was in an Evo and my mates took an S2000 and a GTR. The S2000 had the least power but a much better driver and looked right at home out there.

Imo its because in a turbo you always think at some point in that corner boost may spin things up/torque steer off that corner.. where as in a na high revver u dont have that worry n have more confidence in keeping the foot buried

Both MX5 and Magnette have gone, the Magnette to a nice chap who drove it once and then died in his bed within a week, poor chap.
I bought the S2000 from Ist Choice Cars in Faringdon, Oxon. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM !!

IF you want detail Google the boss man who is called Sean Horsey.

Car is very nice to look at and works pretty well but was sent out with soft tyres and brakes on the meta.

I have a full set of drilled and grooved discs with Mintex pads to fit as another set of Federal 595 RSR tyres. Couldn,t fault them on the Mazda but we shall see if another 100bhp and more weight gives them a hard time. Still got to change all fluids and filters before I go on track, but I am on holiday soon so it may be Sept/Oct before I do try it.

Very hard ride - hardtop rattles like a bastard.

Handles really well, even on crap Nankang tyres.

VTEC is almost as addictive as boost.

I,m used to revving the nuts off an engine as I used to ride Japanese fours ( and I use 7200rpm in the A35) so that is not an issue but if you are cornering briskly (!!) and just off the VTEC point and it kicks in, you do need to be ready for it. Clearly, keep it above 6000rpm at all times !

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

Excellent. Looks like a nice car. It'll be well worth putting the small (although annoying) bits right with it.

In the 13's at last!.. Just
