Tom hav not put it next to the car as yet, this one is on ebay, the one i saw at work looked much smaller, i will have to check that they 8nt changed the cooler when the new mk s 60 came out this one would be overkill i suppose

ok i looked at the ones on the cars and they are exactly the same bloody huge (but thin) i have saddly made a cardboard template, using the dimensions above and the cooler will literally just fit, it will however take up all the front space from subframe to bonnet top.

Will the dizzy even fit if you have an intercooler across the front of the front panel? I know that on my car it certainly wouldn't, I have a dizzy in there for now that I have used to get the engine started and running, until I install the mapped ignition.

I was one on my way home from work about 2 in the morning when a police car passed me in the opposite direction. looking in my mirrors I saw him turning round and following me. Bugger this I thought, I want to get home to bed. He was quite a way behind me still and I reckon he couldn't have had my plate.

Looking at that picture again though, if you can get hold of these coolers cheap/free, it would be possible to un-pick the end tanks, and then cut the coolers in half ("cross" ways) and make two or maybe three coolers from one, and then fabricate suitable end tanks....

What about fitting them in serial with 10cm between. Then the Dizzy might poke out in the middle :) Sounds like a plan :) On 13th Jul, 2012 Ben H said:
Mine gets in the way a bit, but only when it is up. If it is down it does not cause a problem. |

My intercooler used to fit in front of the dizzy (when I had a dizzy) had about 5mm clearance.
