Mintex standard road pads, or Mintex 1144's if you abuse them.

The boat is still out on EBC pads. I've heard good and bad things. some people love them, others won't go near them. Mind you, my mate swears by EBC, his scooby sets green stuff on fire and he finds the yellow stuff works for him, but then he does drive the car flat out everywhere. He spits at Mintex lol.

It's been a rough year Paul, but I'm starting to get back on track! Going grey and everything haha.

Mintex seem to be the pad of choice so I've gone with those and vented disks, after doing a lot of reading

me experience or lack of with brakes on the mini is that drums are for strictly grandma only!
the drums just cant get rid of the heat fast enough! good for one hard stop in the stone cold then you gotta wait till they cool off

the fix for me was to put some 8.4" vented and slotted rotors on with 4 pot alu calipers with the 1144 pads i dont run a servo as i like the firm peddle under foot the brakes are truly awesome you can out brake other cars and also you can freak the heck out of your mates!! haha

once the turbo build is done im sure ill really find out what they can cope with or not?
