a little late i know but i had my car broken in before and lost my amp and lot of other i always thought that it was secure but some how they got it out. anyway when i replaced the stuff to make sure the cd player wasnt going anywhere i added some epoxy :) |

tom its not harsh at all, if the face came off i would have had it int he house with me.

no, i know of 2 people personally that have sold these units becouse they dont trust it without a removable face. i just dident think i was at risk as i said we have never ever had any problem with crime near my house before this.

Yep my car got broken into same night dan, mine was parked in the dodgiest part of middlesborough ever though when we got a taxi to tall trees. They rammed a screw driver down the side of my lock on the metro, I had taken my full head unit with me though. They didnt get anything so decided to kick my wing mirror down the street.. nope they dont know i will be fitting a new radio...becouse i arent fitting a new radio, lol i am in massive dept and considerd selling that one a few times to help pay for it but decided it helped me keep some sanity... all gone now . lol.

i am not a believer in sound systems, prob due to all the minis i have had have had sc boxes etc etc so all i could hear was a bit Frank Sinatra then GrrrrrrrWaaiiilllll.......GrrrrrrrrWaiilllllll (yes i was driving at the time !)

yes fortunately Joey the people that have done this to you have not progressed to the later stages of "ill teach that sod run key along paintwork technique) this technique is normally when they cant be arsed to rip the mirrors off .

. Problem was when i went to remove the cd player when the car was being sold i couldnt get it out lol so i ended up selling it with the car.
