Yeah make sure you run the gas pipe at least 2 foot deep.

Also any electrical work in the garage will have to be Part P approved and certificated, otherwise you may end up with a fine or problems selling the house later on.

But your builder crew is probably upto scratch with all that, but it is worth asking the question just in case.
