I couldn't help myself... I mailed him.

My message: Car looks very nice. Have you already seen 200bhp out of it or is that an estimate for when it's set up? Also, why have you put the intercooler before the turbo, aren't they usually after?

His response: hi mate thanks.year it is built for a bit more than 200bhp but i think it runs aboute 200 its verry fast leaves cosworths standing at a start.the turbo is at the back of the engine and the intercooler is at the frount.thanks

sounds like he genuinly thinks its 200 rather than attempting to misslead bidders.

My favourite bit was 'turbo is at the back of the engine and the intercooler is at the front'. I'm guessing he didn't build the car, as the rest of it looks ok, not to my taste, but a ton of hard work has obviously gone in to it.
