Feebs - the maker of your spanners has just sent out a recall notice as you're not qualified to use them. LOL

could try taking the speedo drive housing off and stick your arm in. its t he bigest apeture short of spliting the engine and box.

Ok....

When you have got that out don't start it until you have oil pressure. Priming the pump means getting oil into it, so take out the oil pressure release valve(big nut on left front of block)spring and cap thing out to and squirt a load of oil into it. A piece of tube on an oil can if great for the job.

Re-fit the plunger, spring and nutJust a coulpe on threads will do ya, you may have to pump more oil in) and with the spark plugs out turn the engine over on a FULL CHARGED battery.

LOOK at the gauge, you will even hear the engine turn over speed slow as the oil being pushed around saps energy.

Basics......

haha they are halfords spanners! You know im still learning.

I dont mind working on the mini at all i really enjoy it, its not that much of a set back having to take it out again, it will be really disapointing if theres some bad damage done though.

Its been said before, but

The centre of the dizzy drive is threaded, it'll be either 5/16 UNF I'd have thought. Get a suitably long bolt and thread it into the drive, this should give you enough to wriggle it and get it out.

I'd have tried this befor getting the whole thing out.
