Can you screw a bolt into the drive and pull it out that way? or is it wedgeded in too well? Isambard Kingdom Brunel said:

could try taking the speedo drive housing off and stick your arm in. its t he bigest apeture short of spliting the engine and box. On 28th Aug, 2011 Kean said:

Hi all, engines ready to lift out ive just taken hubs back off and everything off the engine its just sat in engine bay wrapped in rope. Just waiting for someone to help me lift it out and ill be back online with news!

Its threaded in the middle, uses a rear subframe bolt if i remember rightly!!

Taking out for the hell of it sounds like a lot of work to me, I'd be having a bloody good go at retrieving it first......
