Great bit of progress there keep it up.

I've had all the bits in my garage for ages to go turbo, but not got round to it.

This exactly how I would go about it.

Keep up the good work.

Sorry to hear about your friend.

Nice work as usual, i wish i was half as motivated, the oil drain and water pump blanking plate look good.

the oil drain needs to be nice and free flowing, and 10mm bore or more, I suspect the banjo could be a bit too conveluted and will try to stop gravity doing its work.

"Apparently" when the oil comes out of the turbo its frothy a bit like a cappacino.

What thread is in the adaptor plate?

Well the bore is 10mm and the thread is m14 the bolts that go in the banjo have the 4 holes in them for more flow?

Simon I really don't think that return pipe is big enough.

I used similar sized fittings on my first attempt and it just didn't work. I ended up with oil getting into the compressor housing and basically going everywhere!

If you've still got the original pipe have a measure of the bore of that, im sure mine is around a 14mm bore. *oh well*

Crack open the silver solder and glue a straight piece onto the 'flange' that you have made.

I think it was TD the suggested using an old oil pick up pipe from the gearbox to make an oil drain out of. That's what I did and it's a nice diameter.

ok then, I have been thinking about the fuel return can anyone see why I can't tee piece it in before the pump as I am not to keen on drilling my tanks.

No issue with doing that at all. Quite a few have done the same.

I also thought it was a carb trick..

But I did put my return in a 'T' before the pump and it worked fine.

you can T into the boost signal for the pressure regulator and plumb it into the carb somewhere to try and sort out fuelling problems I believe.
