I now have a smug grin on my face!, cage is pretty much all done, all I have left to make or buy are some gussets for the door bars (would rather buy than mess around making) and I need some 25mm tube to let into the fron legs to allow the dash bar to be sleeved then bolted (having to do this as the is now way the front frame can be fitted into the car with it on, so bolt or weld in once fitted is the only options) Here are the latest pics, none of it fitted tho as I was on my own and needed another pair of hands.

I thought you didnt need a bulkhead box? With the rad could you just not drop it down half an inch or so to get the clearance?

I dont need a bulkhead box for the setup im using but fitted it incase I was to fit the std t3.
With regards to the rad there are numerous ways it could of been remidied (none of them particulally better than others) with the back edge of the bonnet rasied 1/2" and with a custom made plenum alla Nic all clearence issues have been resolved.
Cheers
Shane.

ive just been offered one for swap's with my pickup,

I bet my first wank came quicker than your first mini turbo

These new modern turbos with their quick spool up time, would make the competition harder.

Just realised this thread has been added to, all be it over 3 months ago. No im affraid not, due to house purchase, my other mini and work spare time to play with it has been none existant. Due to current curcumstances (and unforseable changes of) I had it up for sale recently, but luckilly I have managed to avoid the sale. After I have moved I need to get the 1293 built and back into my black turbo mini, then am hoping to spend a bit more time on it. When I move it from my sisters I will add a few pics, hopefully relight a little enthusiasm.
Cheers
Shane.
