OK well that could be a concession to road legality then! At present there is nothing. But it wouldn't be hard to sheet it in if required.

reminds me of the time he said something on the lines of "after driving so bad, I've deleted the video in shame" he never did come back with a coment even when I directed him to the thread. On 15th May, 2009 TurboDave said:

I'm halfway through removing the head at the moment, need a 3/16 allen key mounted in a 3/8 drive socket to get the cam carrier bolts out really, as the normal allen key I have won't reach properly and I don't want to round them out. I've ordered one this afternoon so as soon as that arrives I'll have the rest of it off and report further.

It does use an electric pump, a Bosch unit I believe, Carl knows more about it. The cooling fan is controlled by the all singing and dancing ECU which controls at which temperatures the fan switches on and off. At present the pump runs when the fuel pump runs, but plans are afoot to change this shortly to let it run on after the engine has stopped as you describe.

My car doesnt have a boot floor. Is it a fact that its needed, or is it really down to the MOT tester, I cant find anything about it in the mot guide online. |

I think if you have a rear subframe, the boot floor may be needed in parts, but a lot could be cut out.
