rock on! passed the 'mot' fortunately it was a good garage, its taxed too

a quick fiddle when i got home (not at jennifer ellison) and i fixed one of the many oil leaks and the blowing exhaust and in to my mums............

........... oh it seems to have a slight problem with over heating, shucks

good to see u passed the mot nick. Can't wait to see the results of the 0-60 sprint!!! Do u know wot it got on the rollers at vmax??

Now budgeting the student loan for a turbo project, shouldn't be too difficult considering i'm on a motorsport engineering course!!

we didnt run it properly on the rollers, just enough to get it set up to run it in, though he did mention that we could be seeing as much as 170bhp, but ill believe that when i see it

sounds good to me, the student loan thing is for buying turbo bits if you ask me, then you have an over draft to live off and buy things like books and pencils

not 100% sure if its going to be at full working order for the 0-60 thing, if i cant get the overheating problem sorted then it will be, if not then she will be sat there looking pretty

no, but i couldnt be assed to get underneath the car and do battle with the ball joints

this method took me a leisurely 45mins

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

lucas gold and aldon ignitor is fine *smiley*

thats if you mean and aldon ignitor and not a std metty dizzy.

i ran a 12v lucas gold coil with metro leccy ignition..(ran at 12v, non-balasted) never had any bother!?

teh gold coils draw to much current or something?

turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)

its working again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

went for a trip round the block and all seems well, there was a major oil leak this morning, however this turned out to be some idiot (who shall remain nameless) forgot to tighten up the oil feed.
im not sure if its still running a bit hot, but ill look into this next weekend
