Aberdeenshire, scotland.

Some more updates.

Got smoked lights.

Iv fitted the arches (pain to fit so will need fettling).

Fitted the master cylinder, just need to move bias valve over so pipes can reach.

Waiting on a clamp to arrive for my 2" downpipe then I can get the echaust fitted.

Oh and I relocated my intercooler again, its not a great place but i couldnt seem to fit it all under the bonnet where it was before so until i get a new intercooler this is where its gonna sit.

Got my exhaust fitted properly with the 2" Maniflow downpipe. I officially hate turbo exhaust downpipes. They are a pain in the ass to fit and if it blows il probbly cry.lol

Also fitted my bonnet, settled on the spring clips and the bonnets lifted at the back. Quite like the way the spring clips look. My grille just needs adjusting now cos i think its sitting too low.

Made up plate to go round my KAD Quickshift today. Still needs some fettling but here it is. Think it works really well. Why hide that nice bit of anodised metal under a gator eh.

Also made up a new windscreen washer setup. Consists of the lloy bottle mounted in the footwell and then iv got an inline pump mounted in the engine bay. Works really well and looks quite good too.

Took it out the garage and got a lot of the dust off it.

Was debatin what to do with my steering wheel centre cos it looked like it ws missing something. Was over on the mini forum and discovered theres a guy called roofless who makes stickers.

So got a cool little blown vinyl sticker done for my steering wheel centre.*happy*

Looking good. I did the same with my kad quickshift. But the purpose of mine was to clear the switchpod dash.

You need to get that intercooler up front though. Scrap the oil cooler if need be.

In the 13's at last!.. Just

Two awesome vehicles. The minis looking great and I really want a Land rover. I have now decided on my new wheel arches as a result of this thread.

My next project is going to be a series 2a Land rover, and either put a td5 engine in it or a v8 to use as a tow car for the mini.

Hehe, Yeah Land Rovers are awesome fun. Series Land Rover with coil springs and a modern engine would be unreal.

Heres a video of the mini my mate made recently:
