I am not saying it's bad - I'm just saying i'm not convinced of its benefits at this time, and it could actually be not doing as much good as we think. I guess this will be the ultimate test. I'm going to have to do some bloody anaylsis on this I can tell...

I'm going to have to do some bloody anaylsis on this I can tell... ![]() i knew what you were getting at Dave with regards bearing loading , but felt i had to give one a go, now i am more than inpressed with the support housing , but not with the product as a finished item but more so for its fit, after following the instructions from Colin at KAD, which was to build up the mainshaft dia with weld , a little at a time to not distort or bugger up the heat treatment, then turned down to accept the hardened sleave that the needles run on, with this done and the sleeve tapped onto the end of the mainshaft, i espected the housing to need a tap home due to any tiny missalignments in the case and the cover, it was not to be, it dropped on practically under its own weight, i would descride the fit as "perfect," nothing less, . carl |

From what i remember of daves coments on the kad support (correct me if i'm wrong as i can't be arsed to go and find the thread) he said that he thought it would/could cause the bearings to be loaded up more and would hense be a backward step,
