Pfft what a idiot. Well annoys me when people post something, then post another straight after, even though no one else has replied, why not just edit the post (sorry, pet hate).

And like majic and Paul said, you gotta have a look around the forums first. One of the main reasons my post count is so low is because most of my questions have previously been answered.

Exactly shaun, your right. You should at least do a couple of searches first.

I dont know why anyone would ride in to a forum on there high horse and then answer back and be snappy when its them that want help of others!!!!

Dave at emerald reccomended that i fit a map sensor when i have it remapped as it will make the mapping easier and allow the ECU to get a better idea of what the engine is doing than with the throttle pot alone. What do you reckon?

You definately need a MAP sensor on a boosted engine. The TPS does not tell the ECU the density of the charge and therefore cannot calculate the fueling correctly.

Excellent thanks for the advice Paul, i think it should be a simple fit as there is a brass port on the boost side of the charger which Stu fits for the idle control valve. I will use this port for the map sensor and im making a new intake pipe up which will allow the idle control valve to simply bypass the throttle body. Do you thonk there will be any problems with taking the map sensor of the bottom of the charger? Stu said it may pulse due to it being close to the rotors but that this could be solved by increasing the length of the pipe to the map sensor.

Not really knowing how these superchargers are constructed, but assuming its a twin screw, id doubt there is much in the way of pulsing from the charger, its almost like an infinately continuous discharge? Very similar to the screw compressors we use.

If you do fit it there, make sure you fit a Fuel trap off an SPi *wink*

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

andy you could use a snubber in the signal line to take out the pulse
namley a pipe with a brass or steel inset in line say with a 1mm hole drilled through it and counter bored either side 10mm

its brass or steel tube insert placed in line say with a 1mm hole drilled through it and counter bored either side 10mm
you could easily make one
try your local pnumatic shop they are not dear and ask them to supply the tails so you can place in line on the hose

I got a PM off him basically asking for Blueprints on my entire supercharger build!

Took me about 4months to figure out everything on my own. (Well alot of asking you lot and searching forums!) I replied and helped (well i thought) but no ones happy.
