Just been reading the thread on TMF for the group buy. I'd be interested if we can get 10 people. £163.22 seems quite good to me when you consider how much time it would take to make brackets, buying UJ's etc...

How do. You may be able to contact KAD about it but they are all being posted out this week as they were produced in a batch for 11 people and have all been paid for. |

Yeah I thought that would be the case. Was going to possibly start a new list if there is enough people that want one and see what discount we can get? https://www.facebook.com/pages/Fusion-Fabri..._homepage_panel

The reason I went with the KAD one is that it comes with decent UJs, threaded bar with opposite thead, quick shift gear lever etc. Far less messing about. |

I have been "toying" with the idea of an internal mounted shift using a RC car universal joint, spliced to an old Toyota gear shift

I would think these drive shafts would be strong enough. Any R/C freaks out there have any experience with them? hmm i dont think they would be big enough? they are good and strong as long as they are comparible in size to the shifter |

just going on another UJ suggestion, what about these? http://www.hopkinsfittings.co.uk/p0_5557/mt28f.html#detail there for house hold blinds, but im not sure if they will be strong enough or little tollerence but at least these are steel, they do a few other bore ones too David. |
