As soon as ive heard from you about your postage, i will give them a ring and get them to confirm the price for everyone individually, then i will PM everyone with my bank details and the amount needed from them.

As soon as the money is in my account i will order.

Im hoping for this to be done and sorted by the middle to end of next week, pending payments. Otherwise i think im going to miss being able to get it delivered to co-inside with my week off.

Well they got back to me yesterday and a lady called Helena said its gonna be £155 plus vat to have it shipped on a pallet.

Considering pallets to the island only cost £35 I think they must be having a larf!

Anyway, I spoke to a firm on the island and they will collect it from them for £45 notes, so will confirm if thats ok with Custom cages today (I cant see why not?)

They are going to ring e back in the morning to confirm the prices. I will then PM you guys with the amount you need to send me and then details of where to send it.

Just to doubley triple check, Joey you want 2 cages, both in CDS WITHOUT the optional bars? (Just the one that goes across the front of the floor pan over the tunnel)

Just managed to order the cages, I got bogged down on Friday so didn't get the time for any lunch let alone to order the cages.

The lead time is 7-10 days unfortunately. But they are now ordered and being made

They are all in my name, I'm hoping that they will send me out the reciept, and then i can get a copy of it to you.

If they haven't sent me a reciept by the time that you want to pick it up then give me a ring and i'll tell you what and who to reference.

what wire you using to weld it in jim?

ive just spotted on their website they sell specific mig wire for t45

will the usual mild steel wire be ok with CDS?

I have just got a fresh spool of standard mild steel wire, so im slightly reluctant to buy a 3kg roll at £30.

It seems to spit a little more than normal, but its giving good welds. UNLESS someone can tell me that i definatively shouldnt be welding T45 with standard wire?

Im no expert but i would have thought that CDS would be fine on standard wire.

I've got some contacts on the case. I might be buying a spool as i'm going to have rear arms, subframes, crossmember/seat mounts blah blah to weld up in T45, and if its better then i guess i might as well stomach the cost.....i'll need more than 3kg though!
