tonight i love my windscreen fillet tool... took an hour to fit the screen into the seal then 3 mins to fit the filler strip...

looks much better now with fresh seal, and a black filler, rather than a shitty mikly white (was chromed) one

I have to agree with you on 2 counts there. The fillet tools are great and black strips look infinately better

This week, my favourite tool is my Hamer Car Lift.

Managed to cut out a rear inner wing without clambering around on the floor.

There a some questions as to the legality of using these frames for long distances however. apbellamy & myself havent had any trouble though (YET)

I think the police aren't too concerned as long as you are towing safely. e.g. not over weight etc

My favourite recent purchase are my Snap On pry bars. No more knackering up your best screwdrivers, these things are the boys.

Near Paris - France

my 1/4 spanner

It means I am bleeding the brakes so the car is about to drive

And it is impossible to replace with a metric spanner

Rusty by nature

couple of updates

i have a long thin nut grabber jobbie that can pick up washers and bolts that drop down the back of the engine, handy mo fo!

also, love putting riv nuts in things, put my wing mirrors on the other night, then sat for 10 minutes thinking of other stuff i could use it on, fit!

also, bought a set of really small combo spanners, from 3 to 8mm in 0.5 increments, and the imperial equivalent, so handy for the little jobs, dont know how ive managed without them (yes i do, vice grips!)

one more thing that ive fallen in love with, stainless steel M3 x 20mm machine screws

I use them on everything now, arches, brackets, basically, anywhere i used to put a rivet, i used these, need to order more now as ive gone through 100 since xmas!
