put me down as low priority. am not in a hurry so those people like anton requiring theirs asap can go first. If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

I'm not suprised there is so much interest really. Alot of people have toyed with the idea of fitting one but they are hard to find made to such a high standard (and I couldn't have been bothered to make my own On 12th Nov, 2009 Paul S said:

Paul, I've read through the two posts relating to these trays and asume that they are for rod change boxes? Do you know if they would fit a remote box where the linkage comes though above the pinion? It's hard to tell from your picture. Cheers, Keith. No it wont fit. But, let me get all these done and I can design one for you if you like Paul I seriously doubt it! |

A point I ought to point out is that I have designed these to fit around the MiniSpares centre oil pick up. I dont know if there is much variation in shape from other pick up pipe manufacturers but it would only take a little filing for you to make it fit
I seriously doubt it! |

tbh it shouldnt be a big issue to get these to fit the remote case, it would just mean adding a slot to miss the rod, also it may be possible to turn the rod down a bit instead.

But, let me get all these done and I can design one for you if you like Paul That would be excellent if you could, I looked at one of my boxes today at the workshop and it does not look like it would need to be too different. The selector shaft runs at pretty much the same angle as the oil pick up and centre web. It is the 4 synchro 22G1128 box I run, not sure if it would be different again for the 3 synchro casings.
There is no rush for this, although it would be nice to have it for Avon, anything to try and get a 14 sec run! Keith 14.914 sec 1/4 mile @ 91.38mph, NA 1293cc on 1.1/2" SU's (all steel and glass shell) |

Paul, I could do with one of these within the next couple of weeks, as the engine is in bits as we speak.
