well guys, my supplier has been back to me.

Its not good news.

They now only know of one place making the heated screens and they are made to order. They are now saying that the price to us will be £195.

This makes it not worth it!

i am unsure of how true this is as minispares still seem to have a supply, but thats what our supplier said and the other company that we use said that they cant do them either so...

Pisses me off as it states a price on their online program that we use at work, for the heated but when you order its completely different. UPDATE IT YOU TOSSERS!!!

Really sorry about this to every one that wanted a heated. I seem to have wasted your time.

the other screens are still available. so are the heated, if you really want to pay more for them than you can get them for at minispares....

im going to pull out of mine too. For the sake of saving £2 over the traders it isn't worth the effort of everyone, plus my money is needed elsewhers at the minute.

right, im talking to a new supplier. it looks promising.

i am just waiting to hear back from them with prices for the screens but i know that they can get heated.

the heated are a special order from them and unfortunately have a 10 week lead time.

just thought i'd keep you up to date.

i might be able to get them for Riv Run if not, i will have them for Avon.

that is if it goes ahead and people are still interested with the new information.

Dunno if it helps but a member of Crewes Missiles club just got one from a place in Tamworth for £140 + VAT (£167 total).
Dunno how your price compares but I can try to find out where if you're interested.

First talks with them today looks like it will be the same prices as originally stated.

Maybe only slightly more on the price for 10 heated.

im expecting an email back from them tomorrow, so all should be confirmed then.

funilly enough without seeing the thread i got bored of waiting for an email back from these guys that seemed like it was never coming so i have just been on the phone to them.

they seem like very nice people to deal with and are getting back to me today over the phone with prices for all of the screens.

there will be an update on this today, with new pries, if this new company is cheaper, and time scales.

from there we will finalise the list of who wants what and sort out getting the screens ordered, which might involve payment from everybody. sorry that its got to be money upfront guys as i do trust everyone its just that the quantity of screens that we would be looking at getting in would be a very big overhead.
