Fab, they are lovely, but having just finished the engine I've not got the cash spare just now.

Jim, it was running 1.1bar, I'm pleased with the result anyhow.

Got A GTM With A Honda In the Back, and huge Nitrous bottle where the passenger seat should be when racing!

aren't that a shame, they generally are listed around 600/700, rare at this price.They 're is plenty of PTS parts around Paris, if I can help just let me know.
which turbo are you using?

Nice looking car Tom, i hate french cars however have always loved this one. were they all fitted with turbo's or is that a Tom Fenton technology upgrade ?

be carefull BTW been to a few of these that have been bananna'd they seem to have oodles of grip then let go full on rather than the more predictable hot hatches where you can feel it gradually, oddly enough from various collision scenes the theme appears to be massive over steer.

exceptionally light motor but prone to heater matrix failure which are a bitch.

once again, great car !

That's a bit hurting me!
I don't like maestro's , metros some jags, and certainly overs but then I can't say taht I hate english cars!
That said I would like your though about alpine's, facel vega , citroen 15/6 sm's, renaults gordini's, venturis?

While i was own at a rolling road with my mate the other week, they had what looked like a standard 205 rallye (if they made any?) shell outside. was really nice, very clean! And rather wide.

Apart from the width the only thing that looked strange about it was that the very back of the roof, around 1-2 feet forwards had been slit, lifted and made into a small vent.

Had a little look around it because it got me interested, and sitting in the back end of it was an Mi16 lump with a turbo bolted on for kicks! The roof vent was there because the intercooler was mounted up on the roof.

If we go back down there again when he sorts his car out i'll grab some pictures, it was still in progress so it should be there still.

That one should suprise some people!

Congrats on the figures, youve got to be happy with that!

fab dont take offence mate, yes i would have a gordini turbo too, but on the whole, my own personal opinion is French, like the americans build cars badly, Italians too with fiat,,, really poor build quality. this is only an opinion though, we Brits are not much better


nevertheless Tom your 205 is a full on tool nice one...

And the Megane RS was just 1 second a lap behind the Golf R32 at Spa in a car magasine contest (Echappement) and that is 2wd 225 Hp vs 4wd 250 DSG box

please don't turn this into a juvenil we made this, it's not a french against anyone else,
for proof I'm on a british board, trying to write english quasi everyday since ten years, because I'm mad of anything with four wheels, including guess what,
MINI pure british make , I'm using a range rover, and a 955 triumph daytona to go at work everyday

Sorry Fab, I jest, I have nothing against French cars, quite like Tom's Pug, it's just you collection of photo's of classic French cars made putting up a piccy of a Mini just too tempting for me.

I wasn't too fond of the French stuff either but after buying the Clio 182 for a runaround I find myself going misty eyed over Clio Williams, R5GTs and even the R26 Megan.

I do like Venturis, they were running carbon ceramic brakes, forged wheels, and composite bodies in the mid 90's.

Have you bought that then Vegard?

Are we going to see any vids of the mighty 205t Tom?

And could this be a replacement for MOP at the nurburgstag?

No vids as yet, TBH I doubt I will bother, its just a reasonable fast road car, nothing more than that really.

It won't be going on track either, after a good mate of mine rolled his Mk1 Golf at the 'ring with no cage in and ended up flat on his back in hospital for 8 weeks, we all said that from then on, we would only track cars with cages in.

However it is a bit of a miscalculation that the red car is now probably faster than the white one! Oh well.

Scrapping? You only just bought it?
