I used to own that lens, brought it in late 2007 for my D80, a very very good lens, vibration reduction works really well, and its relatively cheap, i'd say go for it, you wont regret it!

Rob, I went to silverstone to watch the f1 :)
Unfortunately because my mini failed it's MOT I need to spend money on getting it fixed up so no lense purchases for me at the moment :(
