I belive you can wedge the MPI rad forward enough to get in a small denso alternator in.

I would also say put an intercooler where the side mount rad would normally be

Andy, as Joe says really, all of what you mentioned should be possible without major grief - I will measure up how a K "packaging" stacks up to the 7 port to give you some idea of what room is left. We have a Mini front end in the shop (thanks Antman!) once back from Bingley we'll be dangling it in there to set up the air filter system - pics/dims will follow.
