I knew there was a reason i went for a 4 bar map sensor :)

25psi and 7500rpm should be moving enough air for 270bhp, aslong as the head and cams are up to it!

nope, 80% intercooler, 78% compressor, and 82% VE efficiency

I've just had a look and maybe the Compressor effieciency should be 76% but it doesnt make much difference

going a bit off topic, where do you get the figure of VE efficiency from?

I always alter the VE as a fudge to get a value that has either been measured or seems reasonable.

Usually ends up between 80 and 90 (but closer to 80 for 8-valve 5 porters, over 90 for a 16v.

Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

Like Wil, I've always calculated for both 80% and 90% - and anything else is a bonus - or found with development.
