I fit ecu's in to circuit racing / rally cars and autograss cars. Must have installed over 50 ECU's over the years, have installed emerald, MBE, Specalist components, DTA Polestar, Motec, EFI, SH engineering to name a few.

IMO none are harder / easier to install than others, most of them when you buy them you have a choice of buying the loom ready made or simply buying the connecting plugs and making your own.

Any ECU is only as good as the guy mapping it. If the rolling road operator isn't farmiliar with the software for your ECU then he's going to struggle to get the best out of it in a short space of time. choice a rolling road first, find out what they like mapping, then within reason buy what they recomned.
