Brown has resigned in order for labour to do a deal with the lib dems

He should have resigned before the election i doubt labour would be in this position, however if a deal is done i would like to see him stay as the chancellor of the exchequer as i belive his 13 years experiance here can only help at the moment

He has't really resigned though has he......there was nothing formal in his speech.

Im going to be gutted if coservative dont get in.

Reason the countries in such a financial mess is because Gordon Brown was an inept chancellor and encouraged personal debt to create a false booming economy. People borrowed far more through his de regulation than was safe for themselves or our economy.

And as for his resignation, its a political move and il believe it when I see it. i dont trust a word that comes out of that mans mouth.

This resession is not Browns doing its not Labours, Conservatives or any parties doing it would have happened regardless of who was in charge because it was world wide, it did not even start in this country it started in the US and even countries like Germany and Iceland that were considered by many as safe economies were hit badly

You need to look at the parties policies and decide on those whats right for you make an informed choice not listen to bullshit spin, from my point of view if your rich then vote Tory you will be alright!

I agree its a worldwide recession but this country is in a lousy state due to Browns ineptitude as a chancellor. He sold our gold, increased public spending, de regulated banks and spent millions on the public sector. in other words we went into this worldwide recession in a criminally weakened state. Labour wants to control the country, it does this through fear. People are scared not to vote for labour because they borrowed too much, work for the government or live on benefits. This along with the immigrant vote is labours power base when it comes to elections. Labour gets its votes through fear. You can see this in the way Brown Conducts his business. He'll smile to your face and stab you in the back when your not looking.

I am certainly not rich but fortunately im not in a position to be bullied into voting for a party that has destroyed our country.

Theres no need to look too closely at Labour policies because once they are in power they'll change them.

Yes I realise that the Bank of England set interest rates despite what Gordon Brown tells us about him keeping interest rates low.

The chances are that whether we like it or not interest rates are set to rise within the next 12 months as a result of government spending policy.

Whilst on the subject of interest rates, think of all the hard working people who've saved all their lives who have not only had their pensions taken away from them but also are getting no interest whatsoever on their hard earned savings.

Immigration, I personally believe that we should come out of the EU but as Gordon Brown has signed our rights away without a referendum we are stuck with EU rules on immigration. But not all immigrants come from the EU.
