Do they fit into the standard subframe? And then use coilovers? Or are they something different? In boost we trust |

Standard subframe or beamaxle using coilovers. Stef they weigh nothing compared to a standard arm. All the weight is in the disc and hub. 1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.

Did any one else spot the lack of clearance on the arms for a Mini wheel and tyre?

Lol 1st thing i checked, they just catch on my rims but i run spacers anyway. At a minimum i would need to run a 5mm spacer. 1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.

The disc on the hub in the pic is 7" in dia. Thats a cooper disc i assume. Its damn heavy though. The hub and disc are double the weight of the arm. 1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.

Mike, it might be worth placing these arms over the top of a standard arm to see where the hub face is in relation to each other. I reckon there is a fair amount of spacing already built into those.

4 pot is a bit much though, and their other hyromechanical caliper is for vented discs only.

Hurry up and get them on the car with some wheels on so we can see how far your wheels will stick out. Not that I am trying to be negative I was watching those too.
Also, you are aware that Fastcarl does some ally hubs for rear discs, that look not dissimilar, but clearly far far lighter? 1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.

What about MGF rear calipers? I've got them on the GTM back end, they have got the built in handbrake mechanism, are self adjusting. All I needed to do, was to sort out some shorter cables. Tim Rowe

As Tom has already mentioned. My friend has just fitted 205 rear calipers to his mini. He did make his own hub and disc to suit though.
