I got an email back from Nick at Swiftune.

The diffs will be in mid-July.

James, he is willing to sell the diff for more or less the same cost as the group buy, but you are paying for shipping instead of VAT. Shoot him an email and I am sure you can work it out with him. I am in Canada so I don't think we will save on doing the order together as one of us will just have to re-post across the border anyway.

I have contacted quaife yesterday and will only offer 10%, however i informed them swift where offering a better deal, so they told me to send an email and they will see if they can better swifts offer. i will keep you informed once a response is recieved

Thanks Phil - if they would deal for slightly lower numbers it would be even better Looks like we might struggle to get 10 people this side of autumn at the rate we are going.

surely more ppl would probably = higher chance of a discount or better discount non the less?

so why not just wait, unless its critical for a build ofc.

i really realy want one but money is an issue atm

i have had a response from quaife, in that we can only buy from swift, this is why
They have an exclusive deal and buy the units in large numbers that enable the cost to be kept down, without Nick there probably would be no atb units and no gearkits.

I'll be ready to order in about 5-6weeks...waiting for bonus from work! I'll be in the definite yes group then.

TBH it would be far simpler to keep it as one order, all the people in the dependant on time group need to say when they will have the money to order, an order date can then be arranged and everyone knows where they stand.

we have purchased our diff's, we ended up buying 8 to australia.

we did not wait only as the exchange rate floats & we need to get each diff landed in under 1grand so we don't get bent over from the tax man.

still that should lead to a better deal we bought 8 combined with TM
