they don't have a 123 like the showdown, you only get one chance at a tinnie cup and only about 5 classes, all nice and simple,

So what where the times in the other classes? Did john hastons car go any faster than at avon park? what about the other turbo's? "Cars are a lifetime of pain" |

John H ran a 12.4 at 116mph which was slightly better than Avon but had no traction at all all through the 2nd gear starts wether with gas or without, we datalogged it and it wasn't hooking up for 3.5secs - so there is a lot to come from his car with some traction. All very good and he did 10 runs without any dramas - a revelation compared to previous years.

needs some decent tyres to get the power down o rperhaps more weight over the front turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)

Did Benross run at all? I mist so many cars as had to snap around the show. I couldn't be on the strip the whole time. Best 1/4 mile 13.2 seconds @116 mph

Consumables for the Twini over the weekend - several Iridium plugs, 1 Mini top rad hose, 2 gallon old fuel, 1 bottle octain booster, 2 gallon of water, 1 front under tray, several cable ties, 1 box of San Miguel, 1 packet of bacon, 1 punnet of mushrooms and 1 blister pack of paracetemol. Unfortunately no icecream.
