I get the opinion you had a faulty product James and that should have been rectified but obviously was not for a matter you havnt't been clear on :s and from what I understand you used a cloth with chemical cleaner or something like white spirt and are surprised it ate through them 8/ which they have every right to refuse a refund as its your own fault!

not sure why your windows were damaged so easy james, my friend is actualy a P4P dealer and had alot of window kits bought in and this is the 1st iv heard of the scratch resistant ones being damaged so easy. Even my non coated windows dont get damaged by the mear brushing of a zip.

The first mention of a group buy and hundreds jump on the bandwagon, only to give back word later on.

In general I agree thats its PITA when people pull out of group buys. I'd like to think I have a genuine reason as my circumstances changed from when I originally comitted (company bust, facing redundancy etc).
If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

Even my non coated windows dont get damaged by the mear brushing of a zip. Yesterday i cleaned my windows with solvent cleaner and had no discolouration or any damage at all...and of course there still going to scratch with a sharp implement, there still plastic, the surface finish wasnt ever going to be as tough as glass...but why do you go poking around windows with knifes anyways. Hi wolfie, i dont only come on here to slate companies! i just do a lot more reading on here than i do posting and when people need to be warned about bad products then i feel like they should have the heads up! i would seriously not recommend these windows for a road car, if your wanting these windows for a road car, dont presume that "scratch resistant" is scratch resistant! ive found that even pulling a car cover off from over you mini can scratch the windows, even if one of the plastic clips touches the widnows they leave scratches, i will take photos this evening of my windows and let you judge for youself! the window that accidentaly came in contact with something like panel wipe was my drivers window, and i paid in full for a replacement window from plastics4performance for one - dont use anything other than water or window cleaner to clean your windows!!! Ill take some photos of mine tonight, i would definately have stuck with my glass windows if i could, im always carefull arround my mini, but you cant help sometimes coat zips, car cover clips etc coming in contact with your windows, and the scratches are really noticable!
