the answer would be yes. end of the day if you boost gauge is connected at the manifold it should tell you if its working or not. Much more than we can in words

so why do people say you have to fit it between the turbo and actuator, when it works fitted to the pipe that went to the boost solinoid??????

this is what confuses me.....

that will work fine.

think the other way means the actuator acts quicker but they will both work.

Got your email 1275_dan, but i guess your question is answered. Mines plumbed as per Iains drawing and works fine, has done for several years.

Obviously there are various ways to accomplish this.
Doing it dans way I am sure you would be wasting a large amount of volume of air which could be used to power the turbo
further!
the metro turbo only dumped a small amount of air to fool the wastgate on for a second or so, thats not too bad, but to do away with ECU and go to manual setup would be wasting loads of air especially on HIGH BOOST.*surprised*
But this is how a have plumbed mine in. (no massive leakoffs)
So hear goes.*smiley*

phil, dan ,ian.
do you find that you have a large leak of air doing it this way?

it works exactly the same as the std metro control system, except replacing the boost soleniod and ECU with a manual one.

Picture, it needs to be hosted on a site, email me it if you like iain@turbominis.co.uk and ill add it to your post then you can add words *smiley*

Gt tuning (renault ) do it benross way, they supply a selection of small alloy bars with various size holes in that fit inside the rubber pipe secured with a jubilee clip around the outside.
