too true! its amazing the number of people who think because they have 4 wheel drive they are invincible in the snow and ice - still use the same 4 wheels everyone else has to stop |

this has been what sheffield is like, where my house is its a good foot or so deep! ive been stopping in derby the past few days and had to dig a space for the daily when i got back yesterday! i drove past about 30 standed cars on the a57 from the m1 to my house! ive not seen this much snow for some time!

Have you tried driving up a hill in snow/ice in a FWD/RWD compared to an AWD???

I've driven all sorts in bad weather - what I was getting at is that 4 wheel drive doesn't give you any more stopping power; I say this when both the daily drivers in the house have 4WD!
