Thats a bit shite paul, sounds like the mortar mix was weak along with possibly the concrete. i still think it shouldve gone down a metre, stone or not. Put it this way, if you can take a wall apart or move it without at least using a lumphammer, its not up to scratch, as rosco said, id get a structural engineer in or get the managing director out from the company and sort it, else im pretty sure youre within your right to get them to take it down, refund you your money back, remove all rubbish and put it back as it was before they arrived. I will be getting a surveyor in to assess it now as its just unacceptable. The MD was out on wednesday and pretty much said fuck off thats as good as it gets. I could tell he just was not interested I seriously doubt it! |
