2 months ago i got a 15.6 on 9psi BUT now im running 14psi and tuned the map and my PB was on saturday 14.207!!! there is no weight saving in my car and i still have speakers etc. plus i am a good 103kgs too |

brilliant fun, got the car back on the road Thursday and motd, had to replace the water pump on Friday, so was half expecting bits to fly off everywhere, best time was 16.2 with a speed just over 80 :) really got the bug now so will be planning on mods and improvements to the car for the next one, great to meet some ace mini fans. |

Being ill last week I didnt get to prep the car as Id like to have so I had a few problems, one of which cut sunday short for me.

My funnyest run was in shanes 200sx vs simons 1380t, i did a nice little burnout went to stage and then the fun began.... Shane had said about his car jumping forward at 1500rpm when on the break, so i tried and the car jumped forwards so i put it in reverse and then went to stage again and simon was half way down the track... The worst run i have ever done i belive maybe anyone has ever done.

Good weekend for me beat my best at Avon by 2 tenths, getting a time of 14.40 and winning class B.

Well we ran a 13.05 @ 106mph on the Saturday, but never beat it on the sunday. after 4 runs the engine lost oil pressure and there was a bit of a rattle, so game over. Engine should be out later.
Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

Well another good showdown. Couldn't believe how dead it was on Saturday so managed to get quite alot of runs in. Think the best run was a 13.1@ 107.

Class D's in the 13's I saw were. Simon (madmk1), Oli (oli79), Nick, Starmag all on 10's

Ahh last year i saw quite a few of the quick cars on 13" wheels i geuss as there bigger tyres, would love a company to do miglia size road tyres!!

I was a tad confused as to how a car in the same class as mine ran a mid 14, surely to god it couldn't have been in the right class? Not that im bothered by it or anything, just has me confused :S On 26th Jan, 2012 Tom Fenton said:

You also got to think how much his car weighs, just like paul w and his sprint thats well under 500kgs and he runs just as quick as alot of the turbo boys, imagen him running with slicks....

I think there's a pic on here of it somewhere I have seen under chris bonnet 3 or 4 times and its gets better every time i look at it. Managed a PB of 14.01 @ 101.18 and then decided on one more run and knocked the bleed up in 3rd, got 13.94 @ 100.63 quite please with that for a bat fastard in a road car, may be a bit more to come though.
