Havent managed to get a copy yet but have managed to flick through one, i have already seen where you could loose some weight *wink* take the pass seat out! Seriously though looks awasome and much better in the flesh.

Whats next for it then? Make it more streem line? Even less weight? Also how come you stayed with the steel front?

To clarify 477 is with one seat, as that was how the corner weights were set.
Next less weight and more power as always
I kept with the steel front as im not convinced that any fibreglass ones look as good, plus I need to keep some weight over the front wheels for traction

Wouldn't smaller wheels, brakes and arches be lighter than those huge looking wheels you've got?

Maybe, but it looks amazing like it is so it shouldn't be changed.

Sticking with class b? If so k1200 head, racey cams, 37.5mm pistons and a short stroke crank *wink*
out of curiosity how did you manage 130hp from the 1293 that is really impressive.
Love the car and the wheels brilliant!

I may do a k1200 head in the future. But its money and i kinda like keeping it as a 5 port.
The 130hp is down to the 310 cam and the head, mostly the Selby head

I just got a copy of this.

WOW.

What a smart car. Respect due to Chris - this is a very, very nice car. Time to drop a turbo onto it eh? LOL

As an aside, I found both MM an MW in the same shop. I sat and read through both, suffice to say I didn't purchase the MW; how on earth are they still selling this magazine?
I mean, while minimag has a nice write-up (albeit with a few tiny innacuracies, but on the whole very good) about SU carbs, and a good article on changing floorpans properly, the MW just had the usual dull and 'lazy' articles....

Anyways, I digress.... Excellent work Chris, and nice Photography from the Matt *smiley*

Finally - anyone else notice that MM has worked out the best angle to take a picture of a mini from? Pg51, 58, 63, 67 pictures of four different minis, bu all are the same angle and elevation - give or take a knats cock...
