We need more smut and innuendo on TM! We have been lacking of late! If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

I was pleasantly surprised with my box I was worried it would be a bitch to use. I have found that it will select a gear quicker than you can put the clutch in so don't really bother with it anymore. Down shifts benifit from a blip of the throttle.

Yeah it does a job! I don't think I would have used one on my old box though. They maybe take some of the slop out of the change. |

No clutch think of the weight saving! I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

Would be a bit bad if you slipped it into the wrong en! If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

Love these gear kits . Less working parts to wear , less clutch so less thrust wear. Pity the ratios are not really suitable for turbo road use |

i'm sure I saw a wide ratio version of these, iirc a group of americans got a group buy together and they did a low first as part of it, like 2.6-2.7. they ere all remotes though. On 28th Aug, 2011 Kean said:

Cant see why the 2.3 would be an issue with all that torque and hp, Ive got the 2.1 first gear with 3.9 I seriously doubt it! |

Your right Paul it's not a bad issue for the road, just mean i have to slip the clutch a wee bit longer to pull away, and once moving it's ok, I've not had traffic yet so wil let you know. I'm not sure it's idea for fast starts though he he. Best 1/4 mile 13.2 seconds @116 mph
