We need more smut and innuendo on TM! We have been lacking of late!

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

I was pleasantly surprised with my box I was worried it would be a bitch to use. I have found that it will select a gear quicker than you can put the clutch in so don't really bother with it anymore. Down shifts benifit from a blip of the throttle.

They are alot of money but with the troubles I had with gearboxes last year I decided to take the plunge after alot of saving to future proof the build. I have also fitted the Minispares bias barrel to hold the gearstick across to third which makes the shift more positive and to prevent a second to first gear change instead of third.

lol, let the innuendos continue :) so ture about chasing the birds about at Keans wedding :)! and John it wasn't my first dogging experience he he. But this one was the best yes.

Thanks for that Ron, yes thats an issue, swifty said it will go into first gear where it might be hard to get into 1st with a normal box :o

Yeah it does a job! I don't think I would have used one on my old box though. They maybe take some of the slop out of the change.

No clutch think of the weight saving!

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

Love these gear kits . Less working parts to wear , less clutch so less thrust wear. Pity the ratios are not really suitable for turbo road use

i'm sure I saw a wide ratio version of these, iirc a group of americans got a group buy together and they did a low first as part of it, like 2.6-2.7. they ere all remotes though.

Cant see why the 2.3 would be an issue with all that torque and hp, Ive got the 2.1 first gear with 3.9

I seriously doubt it!

Your right Paul it's not a bad issue for the road, just mean i have to slip the clutch a wee bit longer to pull away, and once moving it's ok, I've not had traffic yet so wil let you know. I'm not sure it's idea for fast starts though he he.

O yes Jim, maybe that could be the case:) But I thought many others on here would have done that by now surely?? As there is so much talk about injection etc.

might have to make your own case though ,those black plastic ones go brittle .

Medusa + injection = too much torque for the dyno ..https://youtu.be/qg5o0_tJxYM

The above reply, guessing was a reply to the comments about the scope, however the topic had changed onto dog box's, hence my sarcastic comment
