Warwick.

What driveshaft plunge have you got?
Bolt everything back as it should be, minus the drive shaft central nut and wheel.
with the suspension at full droop measure how much thread is sticking out the flange. Push the flange in as far as it can and measure the thread sticking out again. The difference here in millimeters is the drive shaft pluge figure. Honestly im not sure what it should be on a mini but im sure someone on this forum should be able to provide you with the required figure.

David.

the KAD hubs do give more negative camber though, which wont help this...

Have you checked the tie-rods against STD ones, they might be way to short ?(if they are ajustable jobbies)

Hi, took the advice and left it for a while till everything is correct in place.........
drive flanges are metro ones (could that be part of the problem then???))

Regardless of what flanges you are using, the outer cv can't come any further through than where it hits the inner bearing race, so the flanges shouldn't make any difference to this issue at all.

Near Paris - France

I have the 21A2693 upper arm fitted on the left with what looks like a Metro drive flange.
The wheel is 15mm inwards regarding the wing with the lower arm set at the same lenght as the other side.

Seems to me I have a Metro hub but maybe a Metro upper arm too ???

How did it turn out in the end ?

Rusty by nature
